Cancer

Cancer is one of the most dreaded diseases of our times. Even when it is not life threatening, the treatment itself can be a devastating experience for the patient and family members.

The repetitive visits to the hospital, the fear and dread associated with the disease, and the disease itself, create large amounts of negative energy in the patient. Reiki healing balances these and brings the body to a state of peace and calm.

Many hospitals in the USA offer Reiki as a complementary treatment. Several studies have been done on the effectiveness of Reiki on cancer patients, and the results have been positive, indicating that patients who receive Reiki complain lesser of pain. Our own experience has shown that clients seem to recover faster, and their bodies cope much faster from the damage done to their bodies either through cancer or chemotherapy. In some cases the tumor also disappears, but this is subjective.
