Q&A: Law of Attraction
There are a few contradictory theories out there and the law of attraction is one of them. Can we change our reality by just changing our thinking?
There are contradictions because what was presented was the partial truth so that the people selling it could make money. Now think about it – the Secret was such a success that even now so many of us know and talk about it. If they were so good at understanding and implementing the law of attraction, how come they could never surpass or even match the success of that book again? So did they really know what they were talking about?
My experience with the law of attraction has shown me that it is nothing but beginner’s luck that works at the start. Then it fails you at some point, and fails pretty miserably. Probably variables in your life that don’t matter can be changed. But things that really affect you remain unchanged. I know a few ardent devotees of LoA totally dedicated to it, using it for small useless issuess successfully but their core problems remain unchanged for nearly decade now, in one of the cases. And what’s worse, the idea of getting what one wants through LoA actually prevents them from moving on and learning the lessons they are supposed to learn. The most ardent devotees of LoA that I know are also the most materially and spiritually stuck.
Think about it – have you ever been satisfied? Today you want a Mercedes and a 3 bedroom house. Is that enough? Tomorrow you want a Ferrari and a 6 bedroom house. And after that you want a Rolls Royce and butlers, then a plane. then what not. Does it ever end? And when is the LoA going to stop working? Does it mean that everyone who spoke about the LoA is completely happy in their lives now, that they simply asked for what little they wanted and ‘settled’ for that?
The ‘Law’ of attraction is really just a law. From my experience I would interpret it like this “_when you are in alignment with the universe, your desires align with the universal plan, and then it seems like everything you want is coming true, because that was exactly what was meant to happen. When you step out of the way, you let the magic unfold. And if things arent going your way and your desires aren’t being fulfilled, then you aren’t in the flow. Either you are out of alignment with your story or you’ve created too many obstacles through your attachments and fears.”
If yours is the second case, LoA might be able to help. If it is the former. one will often find that things come very close to fruition and then fail – IF you have a strong capacity to manifest your desires. If not, then nothing happens at all and if people refuse to learn then they can remain stuck for years banging their head on the LoA wall.

I heard a voice in my sleep telling me to stay away from that reiki. I am apparently level two angelic reiki trained but have never used it to earn money or really heal others. Do you think I should listen that voice. Why would I hear that?
You need to check how accurate your guidance really is. Reiki is discouraged in many spiritual systems because a lot of what is practiced in the name of Reiki isn’t Reiki at all. Also, another aspect is that trying to interact with angels can often get people in touch with the wrong sorts of energy who masquerade as divine beings and misguide us (keeping us low vibration allows them to feed on our energy). So this is a bit tricky, and you need to probably cleanse your space and energy field, meditate a bit on this message, and see how it really makes you feel.
